generation Chevy Camaro.
The 5th generation
Camaro wasn’t released right after the 4th generation which was from
1993-2002. The 5th generation Camaro was brought back in 2010. The
2010 Camaro came out in 3 different models, the LS, the LT and the SS. The LS
is the base model of the car which came with very little options. The LT model
came out with more options such as a leather interior, GPS, and better
speakers. The SS has a stronger engine and also has many upgrades possible.
The Camaro LS and LT have the same
engine. They both have a 3.6L V6 DOHC engine. They run strong with 304 hp @
6,400 rpm, and 273 ft lb of torque @ 5,200 rpm. It goes from 0-60 MPH in 6.0
seconds. The fuel tank holds up to 19 gallons of gasoline, and gets 17 MPG in
the city, 29 MPG in the highway, for a combined fuel economy 21 MPG.
The Camaro SS has a stronger
engine. It has a 6.2L V8 OHV engine. They have an incredible amount of power
with 426 hp @ 5,900 rpm, and 420 ft lb of torque @ 4,600 rpm. It goes from 0-60
MPH in just 4.6 seconds. The fuel tank holds up to 19 gallons of gasoline, and
gets 16 MPG in the city, 24 MPG in the highway, for a combined fuel economy 19
MPG.
